Senseless Symposium

The world premiere of the Senseless Symposium took place on Monday 26 September at the 2011 European Multidisciplinary Cancer Congress.

The theatrical symposium immersed its audience in the world of a head and neck cancer patient, allowing them to experience all stages of the patient journey. ‘Senseless’ is part of a joint Merck Serono and European Head and Neck Society (EHNS) initiative, which aims to help reduce the senseless number of lives lost through lack of disease awareness.

23 - 27 September, Stockholm

The 2011 European Multidisciplinary Cancer Congress encompassed the 16th ECCO, the 36th ESMO and the 30th ESTRO Congresses.

At this year’s congress, Merck Serono and the European Head and Neck Society (EHNS) introduced the world premiere of Senseless: a theatrical performance and panel discussion which aims to help reduce the senseless number of lives lost through lack of head and neck cancer awareness.
